Scholarships are available.

For folks who aren’t looking for a collaborative workshop experience, we are offering for the first time this year an independent writing residency option. The residency includes 5 evening readings, 2 craft sessions, 2 Q&As, community meals, open mics and writing sessions, but leaves the afternoon workshop time available for self-directed writing time. We’ll offer five residencies this summer. The cost of the residency is $600 plus optional housing.

Meals

Tuition includes a catered dinner on the first and last evenings of the Institute (held at the Marriott Center on campus), lunch every day in the award-winning on-campus dining halls, and a continental breakfast with coffee service offered every morning at the Old Chapel. If you have any dietary restrictions or allergies please indicate so when you enroll.

Dinner Monday-Thursday will be at your discretion and some good and nearby pay-as-you-go options (on and off campus) are detailed in our participant guidebook.
